Ski-in/ski-out properties are about to be taken to the next level later this year with completion of Muwa by Korean group Hanwha Hotels and Resorts. Construction of Muwa in Upper Hirafu in Niseko is well over the halfway line and the 113-unit property is on scheduled for completion in October, just in time for the 2022/23 winter season.
Muwa is a luxury condominium hotel development which will be managed by Hanwha post-completion. Units in the property range from studio apartments to expansive 5-bedroom penthouse suites. Sales of units at Muwa are progressing well, and most apartments are likely to be sold prior to completion. The majority of the purchasers to date are from Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan.
Muwa’s ski-in/ski-out access is second to none. The property is located directly in front of the King Pair lift at Grand Hirafu, and you can easily ski from the front door to the Grand Hirafu Gondola, Holiday Pair Lift and Hirafu ski school in less than a minute.
